hi, i'm jake. incase you didn't know, i ride bicycles. it's my life. pretty much everything motivates and inspires me to go ride my bike including music(this is what i thrive on), awesome people, pro's, and especially people who believe that you can accomplish anything you put your heart to. as a bmxer, i view the world completely different than everyone else. everyday obstacles are transformed into cool tricks i could do or clips for a video or awesome pictures with the right camera or impossible stunts that i couldn't do right now on my bike, but i could one day. the only obstacles you face are the ones you set for yourself so they can always be accomplished with commitment. commitment. i believe everything in life takes commitment. bmx is a big one. when i learn new tricks, i have to get up my "new trick learning momentum" by trying tricks over and over and over until i get enough courage to commit to this trick. i also need some motivation on the time factor side so i have to try it before i go somewhere to get it. i guess i use bmx as a stepping stone in the right direction of life. using drugs would slow me down, so i don't do them. i hate all the ugliness in the world and wish i was naive about the world and could just have a blast on my bike. i also hate how everyone can't get along even on a respectful friendly basis, and how much of our lives the government controls and can do, but that's life. it's just another obstacle for me to get by in the pursuit of my dreams. everything i do is for myself and no one else. "vicariously i live while the whole world dies. much better you than i" TOOL. Life and especially bmx is about having fun, so that's all i try to do. smile. to me, this is the most important thing about life. but i also try not to waste time and strive to become better everyday because one day tomorrow won't come so i wanna use my time wisely while i have it to live life to it's fullest. i wish on 11:11. it's sweet. =] i just moved to orlando and my lap top gets used way too much.
here's my new video of what 5 years of fun accomplished. the newest one showing how i fried that chicken:
i have to thank anyone who told me i probably won't go pro or who looks at me weird cause i sing to myself and do barspins all over the place. and to people who tell me i'm going to go pro and whatnot. i just wanna have fun.
new video of me i filmed and edited myself with my tripod shredding the spots next to my new living quarters in orlando.
