Marco Dragonetti si avvicina allo strumento all’età di 9 anni spinto dalla passione per la musica rock. Impara i primi rudimenti da autodidatta ascoltando dischi di grandi bands come Led Zeppelin, Boston, Kansas, Styx, Journey, AC/DC, Van Halen, Deep Purple, etc… Inizia ad avere le prime esperienze musicali con varie bands locali: Noise Pollution, N.A.W., etc… E’ seguito dal maestro Gianluca Fuiano con cui approfondisce lo studio della tecnica e della teoria basilare, fondamentale per una crescita musicale. In seguito studia da Maurizio Planker ed Enzo Zirilli.
Marco Dragonetti ha militato in diverse bands:
REDLYNX , rock band con pezzi inediti stile Whitesnake, Deep Purple ,con cui ha suonato in diversi festival metal e live club);
STREET SONIC TRIBE (fondatore della band insieme a Luca Jiga), tre demo-tape all’attivo più un mini-cd “S.S.T.” nel ‘97, una miscela esplosiva di rock-funk di chiaro stampo U.S.A., ottimamente accolto da riviste e fanzines (Flash, Metal Shock, Hard, Psycho, etc. .) La band dal vivo, oltre ai pezzi propri, proponeva cover di Jimi Hendrix, Steve Miller Band, Black Crowes, Joe Cocker, Kiss, etc…, esibendosi insieme ad Extrema, Ritmo Tribale,Statuto, Trombe di Falloppio, Gae Manfredini, Sunshot, etc…;
SATTAMASSAGANA, con cui registra il cd d’esordio “Sattamassagana” contenente 10 tracce inedite di crossover, rock e blues;
TEMPO PERSO, cover band capitanata dal cantante Lorenzo Vascé con cui suona nei più famosi live clubs del nord Italia;
BLOODY MARY, cover band rock con alla chitarra Micky Fiorito dei Fil di Ferro (nota metal band italiana).
Svariate sono le collaborazioni live ed in studio con altre bands ed artisti: Skorie, Malavoglia, Blues Train, Ciccio Blues Band, Ultraphobic, Max Laredo, Massimo Altieri, Steve Lallo, Pino Sicari,Aldo Garrone,Cristian Camusso,etc… Ha partecipato a numerose clinics con:Gregg Bissonette,Skip Hadden,Tommy Cambell,Sergio Bellotti,Deen Castronovo,Simon Phillips,Steve Smith,Cristian Meyer,Pier Foschi, Terry Bozzio and many more…
Attualmente porta avanti diversi progetti:
Studia da diversi anni alla AMM (Accademia Musica Moderna) di Milano.
Fa parte dei BATEUR gruppo di studio,formato da insegnanti e studenti dell’ Accademia di Musica Moderna. Le composizioni sono originali e si basano esclusivamente su percussione a suono indefinito ”batteria e percussione folklorica”.
Suona nella band “DIRTY LABEL”, tribute to hard rock, con Sabrina Zuppardi (Fil di Ferro, Trilogy), Max Maira (Twisted Transistor, Big One, Neutra, Black Rebel Society) e Lorenzo Ricatti (Big One). Dal vivo propongono cover degli Skid Row, Europe, Hardline, Firehouse, Motley Crue, Poison, Warrant, Danger Danger, Tiketto,etc. . .
Suona nella band "HAZZARD ROAD", tribute to southern rock proponendo grandi classici dei Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ top, Creedence Clearwater Revival.....
Marco Dragonetti starts playing drums at the age of nine because of his passion for rock music. He learns the ropes of the instrument by himself listening to great bands’ records such as Led Zeppelin, Boston, Kansas, Styx, Journey, AC/DC, Van Halen, Deep Purple, etc… He begins playing with different local bands: Noise Pollution, N.A.W., etc…
He was followed in his studying by the teacher Gianluca Fuiano with whom he goes into more depth about technical skill and music theory. Then he keeps studying with Maurizio Planker and Enzo Zirilli.
Marco Dragonetti played in different bands:
REDLYNX, rock band with inedited songs in the vein of Whitesnake, Deep Purple with whom he played in various metal festival and live club;
STREET SONIC TRIBE, (he sat up the band together with Luca Jiga), they recorded three demo-tapes and a mini-cd called “S.S.T.” in 1997, an explosive rock funk in the U.S. style, very well welcomed from magazines and fanzines (Flash, Metal Shock, Hard, Psycho, etc. .).The band live performed inedited songs and covers by Jimi Hendrix, Steve Miller Band, Black Crowes, Joe Cocker, Kiss, etc…, they played together with Extrema, Statuto, Ritmo Tribale,Trombe di Falloppio, Gae Manfredini, Sunshot, etc…;
SATTAMASSAGANA, with whom he records the debut album “SATTAMASSAGANA” containing ten inedited tracks of crossover, rock e blues;
TEMPO PERSO, cover band leaded by the singer Lorenzo Vascé, with whom he played in the most famous live club in the north of Italy;
BLOODY MARY, cover rock band with Micky Fiorito on guitar (member of the well-known Italian metal band Fil di Ferro).

Currently he carries on different projects:
He has studied for many years at the AMM (Modern Music Academy) of Milan.
He is a member of the “Bateur”, a study group formed of teachers and students of the Modern Music Academy. The arrangements are original.
