Abe Diddy & The Krautboys was formed in 2003 with the intention to do just one show, but the collaboration between the three musicians went so well they decided to start a band. Somewhere in 2004 they met Blind Lemon Jello (bluesharp) and asked him to join the band.
In August 2005 their first CD "Save Us" was released by U-Lit Records and has received several good reviews.
The bluesy EP "Anomalis" was released by ADK in September 2006.
A split 7" with Toner Low was released in November 2006 by Roadkill Rekordz and U-Lit Records.
NEWSFLASH
After too much bullshit soapstories which involved money,
women and substance/alcohol abuse, we decided it was time to get our shit together, in June we're starting up again with a new drummer, and probably record somewhere in July.
After the leaving of the drummer things got a bit slow around ADK, and even stories about us splitting up were heard in the bars of Alkmaar. We all did something else for a while, and it also took us a long time to find a new drummer who has the same skills and musical intensity as his predecessor. But we found one! But never were we to split up. We just needed some time off to explore what we really want and to find out where we are standing in our lifes.
Nelis joined the circus for a while with his animal roadshow, and is currently giving musiclessons to illegal immigrants.
Jelle got fed up with the hectic citylife, and is now enjoying the great outdoors. He works at a farm.
