Finding Stella entered the San Francisco music scene and we can say without exaggeration that the world will never be the same! (too much? sorry... anyway...) Their music integrates the classic rock and pop spirit of the 70s and 80s with a newer, warmer rock quality that has been drawing new audiences from along the West coast and beyond.
The stylings of female vocalist Chris Snyder quickly fill the senses of the discerning music lover. Along with Tim Christmon, Victoria Ovieda, Rich Flynn, Louis Stein and Jessica Fisher, the band draws on many different influences and styles to create their music, smoothly jumping from classic rock to pop to funk, while creating a rich rock sound.
Finding Stella's first album, 'Twitch', sold out quickly in 2004. Twitch represents an expression of the band's musical potency, and serves up a huge plate of passionate rock. With the 2007 release of the band's second album, 'Famous’, audiences find another strong vocal performance, a more mature sound, powerful harmonies, and ultimately the talent and passion that Finding Stella is famous for!
In January 2007, they made their international debut in Australia - a review: "Finding Stella, the rock band from San Francisco, wowed the girls at Girlfest (on the Gold Coast Australia) with one of the most engaging stage performances seen in a long time." Nicesuitonline.com
And they headed back to the Land Down Unda to headline GirlFest again in January of 2008 !!!
Finding Stella routinely draws over 2,000 fans to their summertime repeat performances at Pleasanton's Concert in the Park !
