Scumbums

The Scumbums were based in Tallahassee and were active between the summer of 2003 and summer of 2004. The band split up due to artistic differences between Evan and Devon, both of which saw the band going in one of two opposite directions. These tensions mounted and eventually reached their peak when, one night at practice, the two put their instruments down, tied their forearms together and, with their free hands, engaged in a knife fight that lasted several minutes. Luckily the knives were plastic and no one was serious injured, though, both complained that their pride was wounded beyond repair. The songs here are rough demos-- the only recordings the band ever made. They are dedicated, naturally, to those dirty hippies, homophobic jocks and pretentious scenesters that never ONCE came out to support the band at gigs. Pussies.
