Vantage Point is a collection of musicians all hailing from the greater Springfield, MA area. Despite this fact, they have formed a group with meaningful song-writing coupled with musical virtuosity. The group formed when local guitar-hero brothers Mike and Steve Dubuque started writing together. The essence of the sound was captured when this brother duo came into contact with the brilliant drumming of James Korbut. The band was growing in popularity, but due to the drug-addiction of the lead singer became defunct in 2006. Now, back together and better than ever (with new distinguished bassist and vocalist Douglas Donaldson), Vantage Point is now ready to rock Western Mass and beyond. Vantage Point is well-expected to be one of the most talked-about emerging bands of the year.
