About Me

For DJ Bio click here.................My life Bio is a little more intricate. I was a confused youth growing up in the DC area with no direction until I picked up a camera around my 14th birthday. It changed me and I headed toward a life in the arts. I relaized that I wouldn't (more like couldn't) be a desk jockey or a suit-and-tie kinda guy. I had to experience life and see whats out there. So I fell into the dance scene while 'searching' for myself after High School in a clique free college enviornment of creativity and free will. Dance music just felt right and explained why I always loved the sythn-pop bands of the 80s and the neo-disco styles of the early 90s. Eventaully I left DC/Baltimore and took a year off to travel. I went to Italy, Ireland, England, Netherlands and a little bit of France. I realized how sheltered my life was after those trips and decided I needed a change so I went to art school in Savannah Georgia. I fell in love with the South. Everything was different, new people, new culture, new enviornment. I truly grew and matured in Savannah. Eventually my DJ career and art life took off. I graduated in 2001 and freelanced as a graphic designer and photographer until I landed at BFG Communications. At BFG I became an Event Coordinator/Producer. Basically I throw events for companies that want to market thier products within nightclubs and bars. From the promotion to the lighting to the decor to the music, I program it all. It was the perfect synergy of art, music and personality for me and I look forward to work every day.I'm still DJing and BFG has brought me back to Savannah after 4 years in Tampa. I'm a resident DJ at Saya Lounge (sayalounge.com) in downtown SAV. It's amazing to have a mature spot to play on a weekly basis and express my passion. So that's me...................so far.

Influences: My father's record collection, my mother's singing, 80's era sythn-pop, late 90's college radio stations, all my friend's iPods, Baltimore/DC club scene, record stores, BBC Radio 1 DJ shows, Podcasts from all over the world, random songs that I receive from other people, DJ sets that I hear while traveling and more................
Sounds Like: Whatever I feel like that night. My mood affects my music at that moment. It could be neo sythn pop, or hardcore breakbeat, maybe some tribal house, upscale hip-hop if I'm feeling it, a little funky house, or striaght up ghetto tech house, there's always mash-ups too. There are so many styles and subgenres of music to make people dance. I hate to categorized, I fell that I never sound the same and I'm always evolving. Music changes and so do I. I go with what makes people move, so, I don't really know how to define what I sound like.
Record Label: Afterdark Records, Clutch Records
