Scarlet is the original band created by rap artists - and real-life sisters - Dorothy Holmes (DorothyJANE) and Roseanne Holmes (Rosie Lorraine), to capture the essence of their urban inspirational sound, which says it's classy for a girl to be a "strong lady", and cool for a guy to be a true gentlemen when it comes to her. Hailing from the inner city of Baltimore, Maryland, as well as the rural regions of North Carolina, and currently residing in California, these twenty-somethings offer up an infectious musical mixture of urban grit and southern charm, as they deliver - with unmistakable talent and vigor - hard-hitting, truth-telling rap lyrics and sweetly compelling harmonies.
