About Me

gods joke is dennis berry. i try to have all of our songs sound different and like to do things backwards. if you have ever felt betrayed, sad, frustrated or left out, you will relate to my lyrics. ive got the basics of the 4th album recorded and it should be done and out by the end of spring. always changing musicians and styles to keep myself interested. if you dont like who u work with u can always re invent yourself. the worst thing you can do is to fail to be what you want to be. there is always a way to be true to yourself and to your sound.

We've been receiving requests for alot of old gods joke material, so in anticipation for our next cd coming out we are releasing all 3 of our previous albums online.
First step: These are 16 of the 17 songs from Dirty Soul. We're having trouble getting them all through but as soon as we figure out how to put them all up, we will.
We'll also be putting them up as albums so you can buy them in bulk instead of a dollar per song (This player will update songs as we get them up).

Band Members: dennis berry and a revolving band of different musicians. currently skye is on bass and n0 1 is drums (yes, n0 1 is a person). 3 piece for now and dennis is handling main vocal duties with skye also singing.
Influences: smashing pumpkins, nirvana, toadies, ramones, clash, sex pistols, police, sonic youth, pixies, local H, hole, feist, beatles, metallica, XTC, new york dolls, stooges, les savvy fav, oldies, butthole surfers, pretenders (first album only), black sabbath, primus, siouxsie and the banshees, bauhaus, joy division, the cure....
Sounds Like: heroin punk from a garage in outer space that just happens to have an art museum inside and is on fire and the care bears are trying to put it out with love while the devil is roasting marshmellows on what was a Van Gogh.....
