Influences: I have always loved to write. Years ago I wrote my autobiography. There were tons of misspelled words on just about every page. I sent it out to several different publishing companies, but was kindly rejected by every one of them. I was very discouraged and therefore gave up writing for many years, but recently picked it back up again. I feel it was inevitable for me to be a writer. Being discouraged for so many years than picking it back up again was my calling. Or shall I say, destiny?
Since January of 2005, not only have I written and published two books, but I also accumulated well over sixty songs, 5 which are under contract right now.
Upon completion of my first book, "Why Me?" which is about a young boy who suffered horrible abuse from his stepfather, my first contract for my song, "Taking Everything" was signed. The lyrics to "Taking Everything" came to me after I heard about the devastating Tsumani in Indonesia. Shortly thereafter, I signed an additional contract on another song which came to me after the realization of our societies fast pace. As a result came the name of the song. "Face Pace".
Throughout the writing of my second book titled, "The Secrets We Keep", which is about a woman who seeks revenge on abusive men, two more of my songs were chosen and I signed contracts on them both. This third song of mine, "My Best Friend", explains the story of a boy who tragically lost his life as a result of a brutal murder. My fourth song, "Each Time You Pray", came to me from the Lord and through this song it explains that each time someone prays to him, He not only listens to you, but it makes him stronger in the process.
Currently I am working on the sequel to "The Secrets We Keep" which is called, "Revealed Secrets". After the unfortunate hurricane Katrina, which slammed into the coast of Louisiana, temporarily wiping out New Orleans, I signed my fifth contract for the song, "Devastating Hurricane".
Sounds Like: My music is a mixture between Christian and Soft Rock
