Jett Brando

About Me

.."Jett Brando" initially began as an experiment in sound collage and as a subsequent side project of ALL NATURAL LEMON & LIME FLAVORS while his alma mater was still active. Always in three places at once, JB zig-zags almost everywhere on the genre map, with moments lingering in the shoegaze and indie singer/songwriter realm. The Movement Toward You (Gern Blandsten Records 2000) was recorded by Alap Momin of dälek, and was critically praised for its subtle garage pop leanings. The Jagged Junktion EP(Go Kart Records 2002), took a more decidedly eclectic approach, with further collaborations with dälek being evident. Now there is at least another album's worth of material recorded, some of which will end up as "Embargo" (label pending), and some of which will end up on another as-yet-untitled release. As a live act, Jett Brando performs both as a band & as a solo act. Shows continue to surprise fans with a staggering array of sounds. Most of the songs end up sounding much different from the recordings. Some of the rotating line-up include members of dälek, Tiger Mountain, Then Ten, All Natural Lemon & Lime Flavors.Check out the video for "Heavy Rotation"
