MOVIN' ON: I am currently living the "actor's life" with 2 part-time jobs, taking classes/training when I'm not involved in any projects, audition when I can or when something "speaks to me," compelling me to go for it. Sometimes I get paid for acting gigs, but at this point if I believe in the project, that to me is worth something more. 1 job I have for its flexibility, the other much more rewarding & worth sharing--I am a U.S. Citizenship School Aide for City College of S.F., Chinatown-North Beach Campus: I help teachers and tutor students, my main task being to help prepare Chinese immigrants to successfully pass their American Citizenship tests and, as a result, become better integrated into our society. I may become a teacher one day as I enjoy being in the educational field, helping people grow, but for now, I want to focus my energies on acting as not to be too "spread thin." I can be creative and innovative, which manifests itself at different times, esp. with random things I make, though I'm more an artist than an inventor. I tend to be rather open-minded which takes me wherever the world & universe brings me, whether it be new-found interests, friends, etc. FYI, I'm a "100" years old b/c my agent says it's in my best interest professionally to stay anonymous. *****ACTING BACKGROUND: 9.5 years' experience, hammering away at it for 8 consecutive, 9.5 in theatre, 4 in film. Also worked in voiceovers, industrials, commercial, video, standardized patient & medical education work for UCSF, Stanford, & UC Davis School of Medicine, staged readings with Each One Reach One, a playwriting program for incarcerated youth.
