I have already mentioned my devotion to the Red Sox. I am very into music as well. My tastes run the gamut. i am a big fan of Alt-country, British pop, 80's New Wave, Gothic, and indie folk music.
I would love to meet Kurt Vonnegut because I think he is one of the greatest voices of our generation and his satirical sense of humor makes me green with envy. I would also love to meet Darby Conley because he is the one person who always makes me laugh.
My musical idol is Jeff Buckley (RIP). he is possibly the greatest singer to ever walk the earth. My favorite band of all time is still and always will be R.E.M. . They are still making magic everywhere they go. i am a big fan of Dramas especially ones with stellar acting. My favorite films include: Last Exit To Brooklyn, Mystic River, Blade Runner, Eternal Sunshine on the Spotless Mind, Slingblade, In the Name Of The Father, The Apostle, Pretty in Pink, and this little indie film called "The Cruise". My favorite actor is probably either Daniel Day Lewis or Robert Duvall. My favorite actress is either Chloe Sevigny or Emily Watson.
I don't enjoy television much. I love the Simpsons more than any other show. It is the only show I watch with any regularity. I used to watch ER and NYPD Blue but not anymore. I kind of like Law & Order and I will watch that once in awhile. I love the Sopranos and Sex and The City .
I am a huge kurt Vonnegut fan as i have already written. I also love Raymond carver, Bret Easton Ellis, Al Franken, and Elmore Leonard. If you like the mind bending spooky stuff try "House of leaves" by Mark Danielewski. it chills to the bone.
My heroes have always been the people who by living thier lives have made mine richer. My heroes are the artists that have or soon will enrich my world.
