Singing, avoiding working, singing, good films, singing, good food, partying with friends, singing, travelling, singing...you get the picture.
Actually I met them once and all I got was this stupid banner. Thanks guys.
I love all kinds of music from jazz to punk, from drum n bass to old school rock. Favorites include Incubus, System of a Down, Rage, Amy Winehouse, Bjork, Pendulum...I have to say though I have been fairly disappointed with the way the dnb scene has been heading recently. The rude boys seem to be ruling the roost...I remember the days when freeloving dread-head party people would way out number the hooded figures at any free party and even at raves but not anymore. Now I've had to say good bye to my glow stick days unless I'm there to sing it out, though I still love the tunes...
The Dark Crystal, Legend, Willow, Ferngully anything featuring my magic fairy friends. Big fan of foriegn films Battle Royal is a classic, Old Boy, Visitor Q very bizarre, Switchblade Romance and 13 are some of my favs. All a bit gruesome.
Amoungst my long list of real heros is Skin from Skunk Anansie, Alanis Morisette, Amy Winehouse, Jim Morrison, Bjork, Jeff Buckley, Jimmi Hendrix, Eva Cassidy to name a few. There's about 101 singers and songwriters on my list. I'd love to have the chance to tell them what a huge influence they have been. I'd also of course impress them with my charm, wit and intelect and they would ask me to set up a support act and join them for the rest of their round the world tour, to which I would have to politley decline as I can't blow off EMI any longer.
