About Me

I love God, Seattle, Mars Hill and the people around me that I've been blessed with. I love Africa and Invisible Children, because they are determined to change the world. We may be young and naive, but we're determined. I love the rain and walking in said rain with flip flops, which are indeed, the only form of footwear I will ever love.
I want to move to Uganda and help the people in an intimate way that I could never do if I stayed here in the U.S. with a "normal" career, "normal" goals and a "normal" life. If Uganda doesn't work out, I will stay here in the U.S. and work for a nonprofit (and make no money, sorry Mom) to make the world a better place because there's more to life than prosperity.
On a lighter note, I also hate myspace. I do. It's ugly and you just can't make it better. But I think I put it best when I told my friend, "I'm only there to stay socially significant." So know it pains me everytime I have to look at myspace. I recently caved a little bit and put up a background. And yes, I am very ashamed of that. =]
I'm thrilled to be in Seattle at Seattle University, because our comm program will grow me as a writer and PR practitioner more than I ever expected. I'm hopeful for a future in San Diego, but sad that it will take me away from the city that I enjoy and the people I've come to love in it.

All I Want For Christmas...

Christmas is coming up and people have started asking me what my holiday wish list is. All I can think is how utterly disgusted and exhausted I am of our consumer driven society. Somehow, we've allowe...
