I can make a dress out of a feed bag and I can make a man outta you, cuz I'm a woman! A W-O-M-A-N! I'll sing it again... cuz I'm a woman! A W-O-M-A-N! That's all...----Where do I begin... such a broad question. How does one put their life into a paragraph... or more specifically their soul. To start, I'm an opera singer... well studying to be one. I'll get there eventually it just takes time. I have a broad spectrum of hobbies and interests... aside from singing I love dancing, reading, writing, horseback riding, philosophy, science- all in all, a well rounded highly intelligent intellectual if you're looking to converse along those lines. I'm back in San Francisco (after 4 long years in Boston) for MORE school. I just can't get enough of those books! I have a problem with staring at people... not because they're deformed or look funny, but they have certain mannerisms that intrigue me... so I watch. And maybe they see me, but I like to think they don't notice my overt staring. Or maybe they just pretend they don't- either way works out in my favor. But you have to understand that when I watch, I'm not judging. I'm not thinking "God, I can't believe she holds her spoon like THAT." I'm thinking more like: "Hmm... that's interesting, how does she do that? Why? What would I have to go through to be like that?"

My Interests

I think I already covered this one... see about me for a recap if you've already forgotten.

I'd like to meet:

Ideally I'd be meeting intellectual beings that transcend the boundaries of space and time... but since we're in reality I'd take inspirational thinkers with realistic views and strong convictions.

Music:

Um... mentioned this one too... OPERA. Yes I listen to other things, but my musical knowledge is specifically devoted to opera. Don't expect me to know anything about pop, rock, rap, hip-hop, or anything else that those young kids are listening to these days.... I did mention I had refined tastes, right?

Movies:

We like arsty-fartsy independent films... and stuff that makes us think. (that's the royal "we" for those who are unfamiliar with referring to themselves with first person plural pronouns) But we also enjoy those other films... you know, guilty pleasures. Movies you sometimes don't want to admit you like: Snow Falling on Cedars, Pirates, Spongebob, Office Space.

Television:

I watch weird shit... don't ask unless you REALLY care. We're talking shows like "Hogzilla"- it's darn right scary!

Books:

mmm books. if it's well written... I'll eat it! I mean, read it!

Heroes:

Anyone who has ever taken a seat of disadvantage and used it in their favor to pursue something with such passion and devotion that their "impossible dreams" seemed all too possible.
