Riccardo Stuto was born in Rome on March 5, 1981.
Since childhood has a great passion for the world of cinema.
After attending the faculties of Geology at the University of Roma Tre, in 2005 decided to pursue his real dreams and ambitions.
He moved then to Florence where he enrolled on a Directing course at the school "Immagina" by Giuseppe Ferlito. Immediately he works on a set inserted in the technical staff of the feature film "Ritratti nella Notte (Portraits in the night)" directed by the same Ferlito. He made the back-stage that will be included on the DVD in summer 2008. Also the school helps his own ability to write screenplays, his other passion together with the edition.
In 2006 participates in the competition for screenplay of "Terra di Siena Film Festival" directed by Carlo Verdone. Wins and is rewarded by Piero de Bernardi and the same Verdone in Chianciano Terme with Fellini prize for the best screenplay for short films. The motivation was written by Giovanni Veronesi:
"For having translated the modernity of cyberspace and chat rooms inside a Florence with a love made of simple things, for a story shaped suspended between the virtual and real life with a thin tail and effective, and, last but not least, for reminding us that the Cinema is made from the same field of dreams"
During the two years he has been the assistant director for several short films and in 2007 he will shoot his first short-film "Love-beats", that allows him to draw the certificate in Directing.
On summer 2008 he writes, directs and edits his new shortmovie "Il Lunedì" ("Monday") made without money.
Currently he lives in Rome, where he makes his short-movies and continues to write and imagine new stories, waiting to be transferred to Los Angeles next to Tarantino's house.....
