Hathorseth (Ha-thor-set) started off as an unnamed acoustic project/dallas green cover band formed by Pina and Justin in early 2008. After a ton of covers Justin and Pina decided to invite their friend Brant to join them. Once Brant started jamming with Justin and Pina the sound they had been looking for was slowly coming together. After a few weeks of jam sessions the 3 decided to talk to their good friends Ken and Rohan. Luckly for Pina Justin and Brant, Ken and Rohan were stoked on the idea of starting a band. And finally Hathorseth was born.
Now, countless hours and days later, Hathorseth is still writing and working harder than ever to come up with new and exciting music for your listening pleasure.
The Name Hathorseth is a combination of an ancient egyptian god and goddess. Hathor, is the name of the egyptian godess of love and joy.
Seth, is the name of the egyptian god of chaos.
Therefore if you havn't figured it out already, Hathorseth means love, joy and chaos. Which basically sums up our entire music style.
