About Me

.. New Video Clips finally uploaded and available for viewing in My Videos
Music is one of my greatest passions in life. I started playing triangle and cowbell in elementary school at seven years old, and continued my involvement with school band right through highschool. By the age of 15 I was had played The Battle of the Bands and local night clubs with my first rock band. By my 16th year I had taken second place in the CT regional Allstate competition, and performed with a cover band, high school concert band, theater pit band, and a jazz band. At 17 I became drum corps captain in my H.S. marching band.
During this time I developed my skills playing funk, contemporary jazz, metal and classic rock. In my senior year I earned the Outstanding Achievement Award in Music, and was offered a scholarship to Berklee College of Music.
That same year I became the professional music director and house drummer for The Perch comedy club in Charlotte, NC. I also became a drummer for Vance Theatrical Group and played drums for productions like Song and Dance, All That Jazz, A Chorus Line, and Guys and Dolls.
Upon moving back to New England I began my teaching career at Ron's Guitars in Groton, CT, providing instruction in all styles of percussion for students ranging from 6 years old to 60! I also played live shows with many local bands, worked as a sessions drummer for several artists, and played tribal hand drums for numerous events.

The electric kit is ideal for modern beats in hip-hop, pop, and electronic music. A large variety of hand drums further enhances the students mastery of beats and rhythm for a well-rounded drummer.
