If you can't tell by now.....I'm a Beatle'nut'. I have been a Beatles fan ever since I first saw them on Ed Sullivan in '64. After teaching art for over 25 years and now retired from that line of work, I can't help but pour my energies into making artwork of the Beatles. The batiks are made from fabric and using hot wax to control where the dye goes to create the images. I have exhibited the batiks at Abbey Road on the River when it was in Cleveland and in it's present location, Louisville, KY. I have been awarded 2nd place ribbons at The Fest for Beatles Fans - Chicago in 2003 and 2008. We went to Benton, IL last fall to see The Pete Best Band. I made some Pete Best batiks especially for this show. Watch the video below to see Pete and Roag Best receive their batiks that I made especially for them. This was definately a highlight for me!
