If there is one thing I’ve learned in life about beauty, its that beautiful women are like grains of sand on a beach. There are many of them everywhere you look. They’re so... common. But people who are also beautiful on the inside, who are smart, passionate, respectful of others, and have a sense of humor...well, they are like diamonds. They’re very rare and very precious, and so much more valuable than just grains of sand.
SO TELL ME... ARE YOU A DIAMOND?
GETTING TO KNOW DIAMOND
I am a passionate songwriter currently living, working, and studying entertainment law in San Francisco.
I am choosing not to become too personal about my past and childhood in this bio/about me section… Since almost everyone has a story to tell. What I will say is that it has been a long journey… I sometimes need to stop and give myself credit for how much I have accomplished considering what I’ve been through for the age of twenty-two.
As far as the music business, I am extremely knowledgeable with general music business laws, royalties, label contracts, rights and rules to copyrighting ETC. If you ever have specific questions, I am sure I could answer your questions or happily guide you to someone who can. I do not charge for my services, YET! So get them free while you can :)I am extremely dedicated to songwriting, my family, and career. I do enjoy singing but do not consider myself a "singer". People often question why I chose not to sing my own music? Good question. A question I ask myself as well. I prefer being behind the scene. I do sing a lot it’s needed when pitching the melody and lyrics of my song to the artist. As of right now I am not interested in entering the music industry as a singer. Currently my main focus is my career in entertainment law.I created this page back in December 2005 and had posted my music. At that time I was an aspiring songwriter. In January of 2006, I became more serious about my talent in songwriting. I then became a member of American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers… AKA ASCAP. Since then I have sold seven of my songs to four independent artists in Miami and in the Atlanta metro area. I now consider myself a songwriter who is well on her way to becoming successful in the field of songwriting.I took off my music, because it is old... It can be downloaded from some music downloading programs by simply searching me by my name if you can not wait for the new projects to be released... So, where do WE go from here? I plan to add my new work very soon. Some projects which will be sung and written by me. I have a lot of plans that have been set for early next year… So be prepared, be on the look out, and most importantly keep in contact with me. Ciao,Diamond~Last updated in 2/08~
