music, Karelian Bear Dogs (got one named Ryder), Taylor guitars, writing, trying to figure out things.....
if I had the chance, relatives from a couple of hundred years back, Graham Greene, Otis Redding, any of the writers of the Bible, Faulkner
Dirty rock and roll, Drive-By Truckers, Lucero, Bloodkin, early 90's jam, Widespread Panic, Allgood, Screamin Cheetah Wheelies, OTIS REDDING is the end all be all of good music...there will never be anything better than him, Bill Withers, roots-rock, americana, anybody on Capricorn's label in the heyday, rap before 1987, country before the 1980's, anything actually on a live stage, anything in my vinyl collection.
Weird Science and Casablanca are the two best movies of all time. Honorable mentions: Drugstore Cowboy, Better Off Dead, the Twin Peaks series, I Am Trying to Break Your Heart, 16 Candles, Spinal Tap.
Graham Greene's The End of the Affair is my favorite book, but most of his writing is pretty damn good...The Captain and the Enemy is way up there. Genesis and the Book of Revelations paint incredible stories as does Salmon Rushdie. David James Duncan's The River Why falls right behind the Graham Greene. I like my philosophy, my religion and my fiction to tread the same landscape.
