I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm a homebody who loves to travel, if that makes any sense. When I'm in Rolla, I prefer to chill at the house, but I never pass up an opportunity to leave the state!I consider myself a technophile (I love anything technology related), and I try to keep up on all the emerging tech and science advancements (mostly wishing I could have been a part of developing it!). But, at the same time, I love art and music. I'm also a big outdoory kind of person. I love biking and I love my bike! I like to hike, camp, go floating, and spelunking. I like cooking, hanging out with my friends, watching movies, playing videogames, and thinking. Pretty boring, eh? ;)

My Interests

Movies, books, cooking, hiking, biking, camping, floating, technology, talking

I'd like to meet:

Mainly I'd like to just get back in touch with those whom I've lost contact with through the years. But, if you are a progressive thinking person who just wants to talk or hang out, well I'm always up for that, too!

Music:

Pet Shop Boys, Cowboy Mouth, Collective Soul, Norah Jones, John Mayer, Scissor Sisters, Michelle Branch, Dierks Bentley, Rascal Flatts, Savage Garden, Madonna

Movies:

Finding Nemo, The Village, Signs, Latter Days, Green Mile, Unfaithful, Eating Out, X Men

Television:

Enterprise, Smallville, CSI, House, MXC, Debbie Travis' Painted House (hehe)

Books:

Ender's Game, Watchers, Tick Tock, DaVinci Code, Angels and Demons

Heroes:

I think the American society places far too much emphasis on idolizing athletes, 'musicians', and movie stars. While I have no real specific heroes or idols, I do believe we should be placing heroic status on those who have helped us become what we are today: our family, our best of friends, and our teachers.

My Blog

R.I.P "Maribelle"

I'm sad :(  My little kitty Maribelle got her head stuck in our neighbor's chain link fence, and she broke her neck.  I really liked that little kitty.  :(  I miss her already...
