I am nearly schizophrenic in my inability to decide things. I mean I have my standards, and whatever, but sometimes my views win, sometimes my emotions win. Like I know I don't really need a girl to live, love and enjoy life, but sometimes it just feels a little lonely like?

FAITH
Short: I am a Christian. I'm incredibly far from perfect [although Finlay says that I am... she's awesome], but I've been given an immense gift that anyone is free to take. It isn't easy by any means, but it IS worth it in the end, and I do enjoy life so much more now.
Long: Its Yahweh: not some dead god who once said some stuff, and not a god of rules and restrictions, but a God of love, who wants the best for us all and even gave His son to suffer on a cross. In the form of a man he was bound for Hell as per the Law, but the poor place couldn't hold Him so he broke through the gates and now nobody else has to go there! But if you don't come with Him then He can't force you into anything. If you want to go there instead of with Him, then much as He weeps for you he won't infringe your right of choice.
He IS real, and I'm not just a defiant clinger to religion. I've seen proof from experience, life, testimonies and good old logic, and everything that i do and see and hear and feel points to Him.
--The only remotely reasonable counter-argument is 'what if it's all in your mind'. But seeing as the mind is our way of experiencing this earth, then we have to accept what it tells us. The whole 'how do we know there's a chair there' thing is all fair enough but if you live in THIS world then you will sit on THAT chair, regardless of how 'real' it is in the bigger picture.
Some really philosophical people take the whole view of how do we know that God is good, if He is the standard of good then He could do anything and count it as good. Well, if I hurt you in some way, you don't want it to happen again. If you experience something pleasant, you want to feel that again, and this is the general idea of good and evil. If Satan isn't evil then I can hurt you as much as I want :P simple logic. Don't get me wrong, that doesn't mean that any pleasure is therefore good. God is all about the BEST good. He doesn't just like to take away your precious pre-marital sex and earthly pleasures just for fun, He does it because there's SO MUCH MORE for you, he can give you so much more, in this life and/or the next so to speak. God created people out of love and with love. He loves you, and the dearest thing in the whole world for Him is your love back. He is almighty and all-powerful, and all-knowing, but His essential 'functions' are very much that of a child. If you turn Him away and say you don't like Him, He'll cry. He delights in beautiful things and in good old love. When He does something in your life and you smile, God has a big old grin on His face and if you love Him back, He will be over the moon. He is absolutely in love with you, He loves to see you happy and fulfilled, and you mean the world to Him. Every time you spit in his face, He will cry, but He will forgive you, if only in the expectancy that someday you'll show Him love. That to Him would be worth all the sinning and evil and horrible things that have happened by man's hand. And if you think about how small you are in this big world, even more so in this vast and possibly infinite universe, that the God who made it all, and is above all of Creation, cares that much about you, though you turn Him away based on half-truths or prejudice because of some disobedient Christian from your past, that's really quite something.
If you think I'm being preachy, then I just hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me for caring about your eternal soul and wanting absolute fulfilment and life in abundance for you. John 10:10 if you want that in scripture.
PEOPLE
I love people, all people. If I don't know you yet, I'll automatically love you, and even if you get to hate me, I'll still love you as much.
Even so, there are certain people who just stand out in my life for whatever reason. I'm not gonna list them and all their qualities here because that'd take too much time and I'd embarass them and myself, but you should know who you are. If we have at least one in-joke then you're probably in there.
MUSIC
I am absolutely in love with music, I think it is up there with the greatest gifts that mankind has recieved. It's become such a constant thing now but I still appreciate it whenever I hear it. It is only a tool, but a powerful one; it is capable of bringing enemies together, tearing friends apart, influencing the world we live in and breaking down and buuilding cultural barriers. Music is a universal thing, like emotion.
I play musical instruments and sing and tap things and dance, and generally music just becomes as much a part of me as I become a part of it. It's just incomprehensible and amazing. I love it.
