I was drafted 226th overall in the 1994 Entry Draft by the Montral Canadiens. On February 6, 1997, I made my NHL debut with 16 saves against the Flyers. On June 26, 1998, I was claimed in the Expansion Draft by the Nashville Predators. On December 12, I earned my first win against the Sharks. In 2000-01, I played 37 games and posted a 2.44 GAA. In 2002-03, I took over the Predators starting duties and played in a club-record 69 games. I went 25-31-11 with a 2.20 GAA and three shutouts. In 2003-04, I posted a 34-29-10 record to lead the Predators to their first playoff berth in franchise history. I was a Vezina candidate in 05 - 06 until blood clots ended my season.
