I am a 23 year old male drummer, I have been playing drums for 10 years and I play in 3 professional Brighton bands, called "Mean Poppa Lean" (Funk/Rock), "Ruderalis" (Hip-hop/Pop) and "Mechanical Bride" (Folk/Alt), and I teach private drum lessons.
I am an easy going individual, the new school of drum teachers whom are extremely professional in teaching key areas of becoming a professional drummer but not super strict so that students don't enjoy the actual learning process of playing the drums.

Tutoring Approach:
I am first and foremost a live performance drummer and can teach how to effectively make you as a drummer the front-man of any band instead of being the boring musician who sits behind a pile of drums.
I am a very relaxed individual and the lessons will be thus, but still with a great deal of work and concentration needed to achieve the goals set out by you. This is because I like to know what my students want to learn, for example a style of music, sight-reading, technical ability or anything really, and then i can gather an understanding about what you want to learn and create lessons that are fun and interesting to a specific individual. However inter-twined in these custom lessons will be set areas that I feel have to be taught to make you the best drummer you can be!
I prefer to teach my students at their own home on their own equipment so that they feel comfortable and relaxed in a familiar environment and I think this gets the most out of my students.
