Arriving on the Cleveland music scene in 2005 with a series of shows at popular Northeast Ohio clubs, Cleveland, Ohio's modQUAD, is adding their sound to a new scene currently developing in the area. Their music is sculpted from a variety of scattered influences that are blended together to form a unified and cohesive sound that is all their own. A mixture of solid grooves, vocals, and extended improvisational jams, modQuad is developing their own unique sound that is for the listener’s appreciation.
modQUAD has been fortunate enough to share the stage with an impressive host of national and local acts including Groove Collective, Les Claypool, Stanton Moore Trio, Karl Denson Trio, Dark Star Orchestra, Brothers Past, Tea Leaf Green, Lotus, and Mifune. They have played a number of Clevelands top venues and have also had the opportunity to take their music outside of Ohio. The places they have performed include the following: The Appalachian Brewing Company, House Of Blues, The Beachland Ballroom, The Grog Shop, Cleveland Agora, Nelson Ledges Quarry Park, Wilbert's, The Winchester, Happy Dog, and the wonderful Sachsenheim Ball.
