I'm currently coming up with ideas for my next story that will be a prequel to Blizzard Mountain. The story will either be a novella or a novel in length. The story will be based on the life of Anabella DeLorme who was a character in Blizzard Mountain. The story of Anabella DeLorme centers around a young creole model/actress from the early 1900's Louisana. She passes for white(french) in an era that meant a better life if you were part of the white social class. The young lady leads a crusade in life to find true love but only finds heartache from troubled relationships because of her african heritage. Anabella wants to get as far away from Louisana as she possibly can and start her life over. Her journey takes her to a newly built grand hotel atop the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. She becomes enamored with the luxury hotel and soon finds romance with a dashing young man at the hotel. Another troubled relationship causes Anabella to commit a selfish act that leads to a horrific gruesome discovery in Room 30 at The Stanley Hotel. Anabella makes sure that nobody will ever forget her at her beloved hotel in the mountains of Colorado. The hotel's legend begins! The Legend of Anabella DeLorme.........coming soon!
