DJ Kepher started spinning wax at the start of '07 when he bought his first set of tables for his 20th birthday. After hours and hours of dedication and practice Kepher has risen to become one of Phoenix's most prolific up and coming drum and bass DJ's. With his unique track selection, seamless mixing, and ability to cut and scratch, Kepher is able to move the crowds and put on a show that is sure to please anyone.
While also striving to be one of the best DJ's around he also focuses on trying to push the DNB movement to its limits. In the start of '08 he co-founded Groove Corps Productions which has focused primarily on reviving the DNB movement in Phoenix while in the process providing more exposure to breaks and dub step talent. Groove Corps Productions has brought out such talent as Unknown Error, Danny The Wildchild, Gein, Noah D. and more talent already on their way.
The start of 09' brought even more opportunities for Kepher and crew with the start of their monthly, Influx Fridays, which was featured in New Times this past February and featured one of DNB's hardest working producers and DJ's, Gridlok.
The future looks even brighter for Kepher and crew as this year sees plenty of excellent opportunities already in the works. With events drawing more and more people each month and plenty of ambition to keep them going '09 will see some of these guys best events to date.
Keep on the look out for Kepher and check out Groove Corps Productions Myspace and subscribe to the blog to keep updated about DNB events in Phoenix and beyond.
