Curtis Novell Williams (born February 14, 1979 in South Los Angeles) is a rapper known as Spider Loc. He is an artist who has collaborated heavily with G-Unit artists, although he has yet to be signed to a record deal. He is an inactive member of the 97th Street, East Coast Crips gang in South Los Angeles.Spider Loc was first discovered by Suge Knight and tagged along with Death Row Records, he refused six different deals, until he left the label to become a free agent. He got the name 'Spider Loc' from the streets, where it was a gang affiliation attributed to his older brother.In September 2004, Spider Loc met rapper Young Buck in Atlanta and did some acapella rapping for him. A week later in Los Angeles, Young Buck introduced him to 50 Cent on the set of the 'Shorty Wanna Ride' video, and he performed the same freestyle.After four months, the rapper was offered a position with 50 Cent's G-Unit. He has since been featured on many G-Unit mixtapes and has also released his own mixtape, titled Bangadoshish (LA Kings), which featured artists Young Buck, Big Syke (from Thug Life), 50 Cent, Olivia, among others.Spider Loc is well-known for stealing rapper Yukmouth's chain while in a night-club in Hollywood. Spider Loc took pictures wearing Yukmouth's chain and they soon spread across the internet, starting at indastreets.net. The chain was returned a day later as Spider was pressured to do so by a mutual friend named Ty from Soul Records.Spider Loc was at Spike TV's VGAs (Video Game Awards), where he and 50 Cent shared the award for best original song in a video game (50 Cent for 50 Cent: Bulletproof, and Spider Loc for Madden NFL 2006).
