(*) My nephew De'Vonte Lewis Montgomery was born September 18, 2008. He was 6lbs 12oz and 20inches long. Born to the parents, my sister Trichelle Olivia and Willie Joe. He was the most precious thing in the world when I first laid eyes on him. My nickname for him is Man-Man. At first I was hesitant about accepting him into my world. Only because I've had so many things in my world taken away from me. Dont get me wrong, I still have gut feelings but then again, it feels so right. Me and my nephew had a little conversation the other day and I promised to be the best aunt I could be and I promised to be there for him whenever he needed me. He looked at me and smiled. So I took that in as he knew what I was saying. So, as of right now, I am a dedicated aunt and I will be there for him when he needs me. To love him when he feels that its lacking, to give him attention and care. Im already an aunt but this one is special because I will get a chance to see him grown old. I love you De'Vonte!
