Act II Productions is proud to announce that our video portrait of jazz great, Junior Mance has won a Men's Vogue/Hennessy Critics' Choice award. http://www.mvcriticschoice.com
The video, "Junior Mance: Live at Cafe Loup" premiered on Nov. 12, 2008 as part of the Art Basel show at the Rubell Family Collection in Miami, Florida.
This internationally renowned art collection features rotating exhibitions of work by such prominent artists as Maurizio Cattelan, Marlene Dumas, David Hammons, Keith Haring, Damien Hirst, Anselm Kiefer, Jeff Koons, Kerry James Marshall, Paul McCarthy, Takashi Murakami, Neo Rauch, Charles Ray, Gregor Schneider, Cindy Sherman, Rosemarie Trockel, Luc Tuymans, Kara Walker and Lisa Yuskavage.
Act II Productions is also pleased to announce that our video, "Same Old Story" was included in Neil Young's "Living With War Today" website, and made it to No.18 on their chart.
"Six Years Down", our video of Nanette Natal's live performance of her song, also was included on the Neil Young website and moved up to No.15.

Act II Productions is an independent, New York City based film/theater production company offering a full range of production services including on-location videography, in-house editing, Electronic Press Kits (EPKs) and Video Portraits.
Founder/director of Act II Productions, Inc., Roberta Pyzel is a native of New York City, with a degree in filmmaking from NYU-SCE and has worked extensively in various theatrical venues (St. Mark’s Church, P.S. 122, the Kitchen, Dance Theater Workshop, Manhattan Theater Club...). She has worked as a videographer for numerous television programs and documentary films.
Ms. Pyzel produced, directed and edited “Shooting Stars,” a 57-minute documentary about living with AIDS and is currently co-producing and directing “Dancin’ In the Streets,” a tribute to activists and activism.
