IN STOCK! ORDER YOURS NOW!STOGIE is known for his intelligent lyrics, punchlines, and wordplay. He is an established battle rapper, and has won battles everywhere from East St. Louis to Columbia. He has even won battles in Cancun Mexico and Florida. He started battling seriously in 2003, when he began to battle at the Comedy Forum in St. Charles, and went undefeated there for the entire summer. During this time, he met up with another battle rapper who had been creating a buzz known as HaVoK. The two of them linked up and collaborated on tracks such as Git Ya Handz Up and Bakkin Down, and began performing at clubs in and around St. Louis. In 2004, he hooked up with Ground Productions Studios and recorded a solo mixtape which was released in Feb. 2005. It sold roughly 700 copies out of his trunk the first week it was released, and continued to sell throughout the summer. The success of his mixtape created a stir locally, and he began organizing and headlining shows with the now-vampire HaVoK, many of which were sold out. ICU Ent. was formed, with the goal of producing intelligent and different music than common artists of the time. Using elaborate stage sets, and incorporating theatrics into their performances also helped them to set them selves apart from the rappers that people have become accustomed to seeing these days, who just pop in the showdisc and hit play. Now that they are receiving nationwide recognition, theyre attempting to launch a full scale assault on the music industry with the expected release of both HaVoKs and STOGIEs first full-length albums in the near future.
