Joshua 1:9*******************************************....... PRAY FOR PEACE ....... ******************************************* Married with children ~ 3 wonderful boys!! Through it all they are the light of my life and I wouldn't have missed it for the world. They are my best friends and there is NOTHING that I wouldn't do for them!! By far, I think that the hardest thing that I have ever had to do in my life, was watch my boys get into a taxi, leaving for the airport as they headed off to Basic Training (boot camp). It has definitely been a lesson in life on "bittersweetness" for me ... I miss them so much ...They are so brave and strong and my HERO'S in every way ... what a self-less thing to do, leave your home and family and country, to go out to support and defend the constitution of the United States of America and a whole lot of selfish, self-centered people who don't deserve it ... I could not be prouder of them ... if you bad-mouth the military around me, I guarantee you, you will have a fight on your hands because I am one of the biggest MOTHER-BEARS around!!!Once again, our Thanksgiving table will have 3 empty chairs, yet we have so much to be thankful for; and once again, the boys will not be here with their family at Christmas, once again, we will have to open presents by speakerphone ... they sacrifice so much, don't whine to me about trivial crap, because, I really don't want to hear it!!!!So, with that said ... my two oldest sons are in the Navy, Zachary is a CTR2 (Cryptologic Tech Receiver, 2nd Class) and he is staioned in beautiful Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, he was recently deployed into the Western Pacific on board the USS Abraham Lincoln, and completed a "Surge Deployment" aboard the USS Ronald Reagan, this summer/fall, he was embarked on the USS Kitty Hawk, the US's oldest commissioned carrier ~ I have no idea where he was heading, but I always do my 'research', and before I knew it, he was back on the USS Abraham Lincoln for 'training??' ... recently, he is attended another school in San Angelo, TX, learning intel reporting and analysis ... Samuel is an AD (Jet Engine Tech), however, he has cross-rated into Military Police duty, he really enjoyed that experience. He is part of HM-15 BlackHawks Division of Helminron Minesweeper Helicopters, Sam is stationed down on the gorgeous Gulf of Mexico in Corpus Christi, Texas, currently, he is deployed to the country of Bahrain, on the Persian Gulf with HM-15 Detachment, he is making the most of his time there, his 4 years are up in September of 2009, I don't know where he will go from there ... Joseph is my third son, he recently graduated from Central Valley High School, and with careful thought (hopefully), he has decided to join the military ranks of service to country, with his two big brothers and has joined the United States Marine Corps ... we are very proud of him and support him 100%, as he spreads his wings on his new adventure!!! He became a United States Marine at MCRD San Diego in January, came home for a little bit, and was off to MCT, Marine Combat Training at Camp Pendleton, CA, after completing that, he was off to Fort Sill, OK for Artillery Crew training on the Howitzers, and became permanently stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC ~ currently, our Joey is deployed to Al Taquaddum, Iraq, and drives Humvees and MRAP's ... needless to say, we are so proud ... Oooo-Rah Joey ... Semper Fi ... with every breath and all that I am, I am so proud of my sons ... I have no words for the feelings I have in my heart ...God, my family and my country will always come first... after that, it would be my puppy's Kodie Rose and Maggie Mae, my kitty's Emma, Sophie and Squeeker (RIP) and Zachs dogs, Mazy and Ruger. Next in line comes my 'wild' animals....I think...in fact, I know I like animals better than I like most people!!! If you know me, you know I am NOT joking!!! I take in everything that needs a home, the bunnies, the chipmunks, the quail, the doves, the deer, the mice (yes, mice!!!) you name it, they all belong to me, and believe me, all the sick and wounded ones know where to find me!! If you can't find me and I don't answer my phone ... I'll probably be out mowing or hauling hoses or maybe shoveling the driveway .... I can guarantee you, I won't be inside 'dusting'!!!
