A friend of mine once said (regarding a rough situation he's in), "Just because scripture makes it pretty clear that I should be able to go running to the body [of Christ], doesn’t mean the present church is so receiving." There are few things that move me more than my desire to see the Church restored to the beautiful, alluring, breath-taking Bride she was designed to be. I ache for this to be. I long to always walk, live, and breathe by revelation, not religion. I hate that too many fractions of the Church reject those who are at Her feet. WE are the Church. Stupid us, really. To reject those Jesus would RUN after. Someday. Someday, baby. Someday the Church will rise up. She will know Her identity and the name of Jesus will be lifted up & glorified. His Kingdom will come. And that, is what I live for. That, and Breyers All Natural Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream.
