Juzt Nutz is "Back" !

About Me

Chicago's Juzt Nutz defy easy categorization. Friends since high school the core members of the band have fashioned their own brand hard rock music .paying homage to their influences but clearly paving their own rocking road ! Led by front man Stride Rite. Juzt Nutz are best known for their smoldering live performance. With a driving pace and musical style clearly exceeding the post limits followed by other ensembles, Rhythmic Poet- William Low (AKA The Major), and bassist Derrick Holmes (AKA Professor Holmes), lay down the bedrock upon which guitarist Bailous (AKA Face Armstrong) unleashes his assault of electrified alchemy. Armstrong, who was originally focused on the violin, strayed from his path to the symphony, and picked up the electric guitar . Along with his compatriots lead Vocalist Capturing audiences with faithful renditions of such monster classics as Godzilla, Juzt Nutz are primarily known for dynamic original songcraft; be it in the studio or live in concert . Hear the band which continues to win new fans everywhere Juzt Nutz !

Influences: From what we`ve heard through the years from longtime Juzt Nutz fans, our sound is about as diverse as they come. We`ve heard people make mention of early "Van Halen", to a slight touch of "Frank Zappa". Some even go back as far as "The Doors" or "Funkadelic" in their comparisons. James Brown meets Aerosmith was another one a music critic once tabbed us with years ago. That was one we definitely got a big kick out of. Personally speaking, you could probably toss in a hundred of our favorite Jazz and R & B artists, give or take "Roxy Music or MC-5 and we still wouldn`t be sure if we scratched the surface yet! The bottom line is that we do take a little pinch of this and that to develope our sound(most groups do)though we never really paid much attention to the labels. On the other hand, you can only take it as a compliment when you`ve been mentioned in the same sentence with Some of your favorite artists.
