Malistix is a young House techno/dub minimal band. But make no mistake, their founding members already have years of experience and success in many projects, electronic music as well as other styles.The first one is DJ Laurent Acoustix who played as resident DJ or guest star in clubs like : La Rocca, Milk club, Bataclan(Paris), Wax club, Mirano ,La Terrassa(Paris) , Km5(Ibiza), Maxim's(Paris), Bataclan, Stereo Sushi, Techno Parade, Pk2(Ibiza), Dalis Bar, Tavernier... alongside with many renowned DJs such as Murvin Jay, Robert Owens, Geoffroy, Paco, Fafa Monteco, Cozzy Mozzy, Carl Craig ,Serge Santiago, The Glimmers, Prince off, Shit Robot, Thiefschwartz, Jef K, Prinz, Jean Vanesse Aka Spirit Catcher, Riton, Prinz, Bamboola Prod. Today , leading the Trafik collective , he organises very trendy monthly events in Brussels : the Tilt evenings.The other one, producer mixer musician Denis Moulin aka Malice, who worked in much more ecletic domains, and met success many times: Sioen, Lais, Mo and Grazz (With Dj Grazzhopa), Black and Blue, Puta Madre, Villeneuve, Jeff Bodart, Miossec, Marc Moulin (for whom he remixed titles like « into the dark » or « organ » ending in many house compilations), and many albums with Isabelle Antena.Together: difference meets complementarity, they propose an elegant house music, often minimal as far as beats are concerned, but also elaborated and sophisticated , with vivid dub consonances, brightened up with hypnotic and groovy live basses , percussions and vocal performances .A european band in essence.
