About Me


Vienna Decay is a networking platform for Vienna's underground, do-it-yourself, art punk and dark alternative music scene, past and present. Its target is to gather and connect interesting artists, events and musical projects based in Vienna and other parts of Austria, and to promote them all over the world.
Vienna Decay is a community of (unsigned) musicians, artists, promoters, organizers, DJs, radio hosts, labels and special interest groups in Austria.
Vienna Decay is not about money or profits, but an attempt to support underground art and to push forward the community spirit of subculture.
Vienna Decay is closely linked to an international D.I.Y. community represented by groups, projects and events such as Drop Dead, Mutant Transmissions, NY Decay Community, Lisbon Decay, Milan Decay, Batcave.sk, Gothic Pogo, Memories Unchained, International Deathrock Groups, post-punk.com, Dead And Buried, Outsider Party, Crimson Night, Release The Bats, Ghost Dance Party, Pagan Love Songs, Living in Oblivion, Randbewegung Leipzig, Schaedelweiss, Radio Ghoulschool, and many many more.
