Layout by CoolChaserAffectionately known as Bren, this entertainer has made for himself a life that has offered love and understanding to his fellow man, a life of servitude offering solace to his neighbour through beautiful music. Born in Kingston, Jamaica, this was instilled in him by parents who knew only to love and who have left him that legacy that has guided him through his interesting life.Bren grew up in a household that craved music, singing was compulsory. The housework was lightened by the soft notes of a mother who insisted that the rest of the family join in on the chorus, thus exposing the family to four part harmonies and solid arrangements that has helped Bren on his path to being a singer and a producer.Brenton was one of the first Jamaican independent producers to signh to a foreign based record company. He signed a distribution deal with Kings Records at the begining of the 70s and spent most of his recording life with this reputable company. He has spent three decades in England and has had numerous record releases, making him a household name in East London and otjher European countries. These countries became his habitual stamping ground as he toured for years performing in clubs and regular concert halls. Blessed with a calm voice that begs and beseeches its listener to adhere to its call.
