Poly-Rythmic Death Thrash from the Cornfields of Indiana...
Sinderella By Revenants @ Doc's on Dill 4/17/2009 "The Freakshow"
Interview with Pitstomp Promotions....

From humble beginnings in a haunted basement Chris Baker (Drums), Dustin Blades (Bass), and Chris Davis (Guitar) have been using music as a way to escape the desolation, and palpable nothingness of Indiana. With the additions of Charlie Smith (Keyboard/Audio) and Dylan Keller (Vocals) the group have become Revenants. Revenants are formerly living beings that appear to still be alive (ex. Zombies, Vampire, Animated Corpses, ect.), and share a similarity to the majority of the inhabitants of Indiana cities. The difference between these subjugated and subdued people and Zombies is that Zombies know what they are and what they want! Revenants, finding themselves primarily surrounded by mindless hordes all suffering from a sense of psychosis, and music being the only cure, decided to structure songs to release the rage, and stresses caused by living in and around antisocial cities linked by mile after mile of corn fields. The cure that they devised is a mixture of brutal power, and tribal rhythm with moments of beauty, and hours of therapeutic angst. They have created a unique blend of different forms of metal. A combination of Nu-Metal, Death Metal, Hardcore, and hints at many other forms all coming together to very much be a band that would be considered to be in the New Wave of American Heavy Metal. We are Revenants because we are aware of the psychosis that the world around us can cause. Join our Army of the Undead, and let your inner Revenants out!
