About Me

I moved to Providence in August from Austin, Texas (I went to UT for 3 years TEXAS FIGHT!). I'm going to school up here and looking to meet new people and start a new leg of my life. I'm half Swedish and half Irish (which works out nice since my b-day is on St. Patrick's Day). I've been learning Swedish again for the past few summers, and now my mom and I speak in Swedish together. I've spent most of my life growing up in Texas (about 14 years). I'm really, really sarcastic, I think I'm funny. I'm pretty friendly, I love meeting people. I don't like judgmental people, because I don't like people to judge me right away. There is a lot more to me than anyone could tell in just 5 minutes (at least I hope so), and I think that's the same for almost everyone. I like the color orange...can you tell? My favorite word is waddle. I like to name things that I have love for: my car (Vivian), my hair straightener (Shirley), the list goes on (Ariel). Oh, and I will make fun of you, please don't take it personal.

My Interests

I really like photography (but I try to do a good job of staying out of the pictures myself), I love to sing (I was in choir for a while), I love to travel, I really enjoy snowboarding, I love hanging out with my friends, making people smile, and just having a good time

I'd like to meet:

In general: people who are interesting, can hold a decent conversation (even if it's about coconuts), can laugh at themselves and others, have stories (I love stories, people without them I find slightly boring).

Music:

My taste in music isn't limited to one genre. I got tired of having a list of specific artists, because there are always new artists that I'm finding and enjoying. So, I like R&B, Rap (even chopped and screwed), Rock, Country (more on the newer side), Indie, Alternative, I don't know how to go on...pick a genre of music and I figure that someone can do it well and I enjoy music that is done well.

Movies:

I love watching movies, but I'm in no way a movie buff. I like all types of movies, but I'm not the person you would ever want to take to a scary movie, because I do scream and jump...yeah...so I watch those types at home. Favorite: Boondock Saints

I love crime solving shows (Law & Order, CSI), I like reality tv (Flavor of Love, Top Chef), I like comedy shows (Seinfeld, Friends), and I like my cartoons (Futurama, Family Guy)
