The band’s name Oracles Always Lie, comes from the libretto of Igor Stravinsky’s opera “Oedipus Rexâ€. The libretto was written by Jean Cocteau in French. In the opera, act II; Jocasta (mother of Oedipus) was trying to calm and convince Oedipus that oracles always lied and one should not believe in their predictions. The reason why she said that, it was an oracle who had predicted that Laius (Jocasta’s husband) would die at his son's hand. In fact he was murdered by bandits at the crossing of three roads, however this frightened Oedipus further, he recalled killing an old man at the crossroads before coming to Thebes. Well, here is our new songs. Also we’ve started to work for some future tracks in our sound apartment. This place (Sound Apartment) has given us a chance to see more, hear more, and try more and maybe even tell more. More about what? It’s more about things especially; you want to shout at something desperately- but for a reason you can’t, you suddenly want to run as fast as you can - but somehow you can’t, and you want to cry for sometime - but still you can’t, and sometimes you want to explain the reason of your weird happiness, but no, you can’t..
