Ah, the beautiful smell of a working title. I love the various, consistant, and brief synopsis I have read about this game. From the trailer, however...from the trailer it has kind of an 'Ocean's Eleven' feel to it, and for a gritty underground organization of fighting gladiators sponsered by rich, corporate evilsys bent on fun and profit...I just don't think it meshes. Oh yeah. The business cards are kind of lame too.
The Club
This month's series pimp goes out to Aria: The Animation. I first was drawn to this series by the cover art on the original print (American, I'm assuming the Japanese could be different) of the first three volumes. Beautiful, beautiful artwork. I loved the series immediately after the first couple pages. The plot is similar to Genshiken in that it doesn't really appear to HAVE a strong direction. It is light, and free, and well...cute. Cute is the best word I can think of. Watch and enjoy.
