He was raised in sicklerville one of the roughest parts of Camden.Grew up in Lehigh Manor a south jersey project home for the first 11 years of his life before moving into a little nicer of a community known as the E section... When Roc was 12 years old he began rapping in cyphers in the bathroom of his elementary school... From that point on he was in the rap game... Constantly writing always thinking of concepts and writing to instrumentals found at local record stores.. Battling others at house partys in high school and quickly gaining a buzz as one of the next people to watch in the rap game. Roc also began doing illegal activities around this time and began to live the life he rapped about. Roc Moved to Portland Oregon 2 weeks before begining his junior year of High School in 1999. It was at that point when Roc met 44 cal.'s cousin and met 44 soon after. Building a friendship over the next 10 years that would lead to Roc becoming part of the Syndicate Mobb. In 2000 Roc was arrested for grand theft for stealing over 15,000 dollars worth of merchandise from a local department store over the course of a week and then in 2001 Roc was in a serious car accident in which he was thrown thru the passenger window of the car he was riding in and had to have 72 stitches placed in his right forearm. Then later that same year after graduating high school Roc was arrested again and was charged as an adult this time for D.U.I.I., Possession of a controlled substance, Possession with intent to sell, and possession of a concealed weapon. After Roc got out of jail thats when he decided it was best to move back to NJ and get back in touch with hip hop. Roc started rapping at frat parties at rutgers and penn state and began networking and building a buzz at which point in may 2002 Roc moved back to portland and hit the booth heavy perfecting his craft. Roc has been doing shows since august of 2007 and has dropped 2 classic mixtapes "I am tha American C.R.E.A.M." Hosted by Portland's biggest known rapper and Dj, Cool Nutz & The World Famous Dj CHiLL. After dropping that mixtape in october of 2008 Roc quickly began work with 44 Cal. & DGun and the rest of the mobb on his 2nd mixtape "Smokin Session's Vol.1" Which was recorded over a 5 day straight lab session at Syndicate Mobb Records. Roc is now working on his 3rd mixtape and debut album both titled "Roc Muzik" and others... which should be hitting the streets late summer or early fall of 2009. Roc Was heavily influenced by artists Such as The Notorious B.I.G., Jay-Z, Nas, Rakim, EPMD, Def Squad, Wu-Tang, The Lox, DMX, Big Daddy Kane, Big L, Run DMC, Memphis Bleek, Beanie Siegel, Cassidy and others.
