MY VISUAL DNA
My motto is CARPE DIEM!! It's not what the world holds for you, it's what you bring to it! I'm a little (4'10 baby!) outgoing internet freak, writer, marketing specialist, who enjoys boba, celebrating my Christian faith, martial arts, watching live bands, going out to eat, promoting, clubbing, anime, lightshows, the beach, and massages! I love life and dare to live it! I dare to be different! I mainly just enjoy hanging out with my family and friends. Basically, I'm independent, free-spirited, energetic, ambitious, very open-minded, outgoing, and NOT CONSERVATIVE. I'M REALLY LIBERAL! I grew up in Sacramento, CA and graduated from UC San Diego with a degree in Ethnic Studies. I moved back to Sacramento in August of 2003 and I'm finishing the MBA program at UC Davis. I am ethnically 100% Cantonese Chinese and I speak pretty fluently. THERE IS NOTHING I WON'T DO FOR MY LOVED ONES AND GOOD FRIENDS!
I believe every bad experience is an opportunity to recreate something rather than to just lay blame. Sameness doesn't heal. It allows us to hide the things we think and feel about ourselves in the closet. There are no obstacles in my path. There are only ways for me to learn and to take a step up!I also believe the strongest people admit that they have problems and acknowledge their weaknesses and mistakes while constantly striving to better themselves. The most miserable people are the ones who only care about themselves, who understand only their own troubles, and who see their own perspectives. Real and lasting fulfillment comes to those who extend beyond the boundaries of self.
I'd rather be loved than feared, I'd rather genuineness than meaningless popularity, I value intelligence over a pretty face, I'm striving for less stress and more devotion to God, I despise bluntness and heartless inconsideration, I value truth over ignorance, and my greatest weakness is tending to sacrifice myself for people who aren't willing to do the same for me. So you wanna know what I'm about? I'm about acceptance, respect, and love...the manna to the soul we all crave. I'm about having fun and being young, meeting people here I would never meet otherwise, bonding with and holding onto the good people in my life, using my strengths to try to have a positive effect on the world, and celebrating life to the fullest=) Please check my xanga to find out more about me!
