Hey Everybody! My name's Vanessa and I'm 18. I enjoy manga, anime, drawing, WCYY, bowling, movies, travel, japan, asian stuff, comedey, backmasking, hidden images, mythical stuff, CARTOONS, Photoshop, mucic, my dog Radar, and all my friends.I figure I need more info if people really want to know about me. I'm in college right now for E-Gaming Art and Animation. Basically that means I'm learning how to animate and use color theories and stuff. When I graduate I want to go into cartoons. Maybe get a job at Adult Swim if I'm lucky. I have a ton of story ideas for cartoons and a lot of my main characters are punk boys, because they are the best. I also like to use the name 'Ly' for my characters a lot - it's my favorite boy name.My background and a lot of the pics you will see are some of my art. I hope you enjoy!I went into cartoon, specificly on the computer, because my drawing talents are not up to par for what I want to do. I hope that with the computer I can make my drawings better and bring them to life. When I get a story idea it comes in flashes of scenes and I make up the middle parts.
I want to make my very own cartoon ideas come to life one day and even own my own cartoon company. My best friend Mallori is looking to join me to make our oldest cartoon idea -Mally and the Ring- a reality. She's majoring in business and we one day hope to join forces and make our ideas breath.Currently I draw the comic SpiritStrife durring the summer. I'm hoping to finish it this year and show it off to my friends. The drawings aren't too good, but really I'm just practicing drawing fast, form, story line, emotions, and 'showing' situations. It would take forever if I fussed over detail and drawing it well. After this comic I want to draw out Fairfax comic. Its a story about the first character I ever drew :D kinda an odd story, but I like it.As far as boys go, I'm sorta taken... but not really. My on again off again love hasn't given me any signs that he wants me back. Its okay, as long as he is happy than I guess I can be too. He's the first boy I ever really completly fell for and I would give him my whole heart if he asked, he will always be special to me wether or not we are dating.I like the punk style with eyeliner, jeans, colored hair, chains, good music, and black tight shirts. Strangely enough most of my friends and everyone I have ever dated were not punk. Personally I don't wear punk stuff 24/7 my style varries and I just do what I feel comfatable in. That's not to say I wont try something new, so when my friends wanna force me into bubble pink outfits and some store and cringe and go along for fun.I like to draw, I may not be the best at it, but I like it. Currently I'm drawing a comic about ghosts :) I can tell you more if you want, it's a little cheesy, but I got a punk ghost in it and some not so happy bits in it so it's pretty realistic. It's not at all about the 1 punk guy though...more about a boy ghost in love with a living girl. I like it, and if you ever want to read it just ask. We got him a few years ago when he was 10 at the pound. He's a border collie (one of the smartest dogs) and beagle (one of the dumbest) mix. He likes to howl when no ones looking, bark at anything we drive by, eat everything (including paste), smells like Doritos, and roll on his back and grunt all the time.I will keep adding stuff to this or just use my blog as a way to get to know me better....stupid blog...
