About Me

WAKE THE FUCK UP

..We are not a sound. We are a community.

We're a band that people sometimes associate with the hardcore genre.

We're from Washington, DC.

The songs on this page right now are from a bunch of records that are in various stages of completion. Here's the breakdown:

1. A rough mix/unmastered version of a song that Dreux (our singer) and Dean Baltulonis (who produced our 2nd full-length, as well as records for Madball, Sick of it All, This Is Hell, etc.) did together for a radio show. They were asked to write, record, and mix it in one day without prior preparation. We thought we'd share the result with you, just for fun. The movie clips are from 'Kanehsatake: 270 Years of Resistance,' which you can stream right here on our profile (see above). It's directed by Alanis Obomsawin.

2-4. Unmixed tracks from our upcoming 3rd full-length, 'Flicker and Descend'

5. From our first full-length, 'Move the Mountains'

6. Unmixed track from our upcoming 2nd full-length, 'I Am Love.' Turn down your bass and turn up your speakers, this isn't even a little mixed. Features Lord Ezec (aka Danny Diablo) of Crown of Thorns/Skarhead fame, as do a couple other songs on this record.

In the summer of 2006, we completed our first full-length, 'Move the Mountains.' In August, 2008, we wrapped tracking for our 2nd full-length, 'I Am Love.' We'll post some songs from that record in early December. Nothing we've recorded is available as a formal release yet, with the following exception:

100 copies of 'Move the Mountains' in DIY packaging are available in Germany from Danzbar , which is run by Fabi . They're cheap (2 Euros). Ask him about buying one.

If you'd like to read the lyrics to our songs, they can be found here .

MySpace is a sad part of a sad musical culture, and we're bummed to be willing accomplices.

Everything sounds bad when you stream it.

We do answer every message we get on this site. Thanks for sending them.

Brendan Jeffrey is working on videos for a couple of our songs. You can find betas/previews here: 'Umi' and 'Move the Mountains'

- Flex Your Head (Vancouver)
- Breaking the Silence (Serbia)

Before you ask, yes, we are very, very sorry that:

1. Our music doesn't sound like hardcore is supposed to.

2. We don't have links to a bunch of cool hoodies and t-shirts you can buy, or to a bunch of poorly filmed live performances.

3. We randomly added you. We think it sucks, too, but how can we know who's literate enough to be bothered by it unless they tell us first?
