Against All Odds... Prevail

About Me

If you read the section under General Interests of my profile, you will see that my life revolved around work. Although I enjoyed my job, I worked way too much, which made me tired. Then I was promoted to regional Sales Manager which meant 23 other people's work related problems and issues became my own problems and issues. So not only was I tired and unable to pursue anything outside of work, I became stressed, burnt out, and I felt like a magnet for negativity. It seemed those above me and those below me came to me with a never-ending flood of problems and issues and not much else. I gave up family time, friends time, time with my dogs, personal time, and I lost relationships of all types with people I loved and cared about. I became a robot, a very miserable robot. Then I took a trip to the Philippines and suddenly woke up....
I believe that everyone in this world is in pursuit of happiness and that happiness is different for each and every one of us. Some people think that things outside of us are what make us happy. I have learned that the opposite is in fact true. I believe that happiness in it's true essence comes from within. My goal is to eliminate negativity from my mind, or at least to significantly decrease the amount of time my mind focuses on negative thoughts and also to avoid having my mind and body affected by the negative energies in the world around me. I believe this will allow me to sustain a state of complete happiness at every moment of my life and enjoy this gift of life as much as I possibly can. We have a duty to ourselves to make ourselves happy. It all starts from within, and it all starts now.
"I believe my purpose on this planet is to express my soul, to figure out what it is that's going to fulfill my soul's desires. In doing that I will find happiness in my life." - Aron Ralston
Video Clip - A young Kobayashi eating the hell out of some food in an eating contest. I love this guy. I gotta stop eating like that though, it's catching up to me :-O I love the spectator's reactions lol.
I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4 .

My Interests

Work, eat, try to sleep, work again, eat, work more, drink, hang out, try to sleep, repeat. Traveling. Sports. Eating lots of Food. Watching TV and Movies. I like guns, got 4 of them. I like knives too, got too many to count. I know work isn't everything in life but I seem to do it a lot, almost like I'm on autopilot. Nowadays I still try to make time to hang out with my people, spend time with my dog, and stop and smell the roses. I know life's not meant to be worked away, but when you have a job like mine, working is living too. The most important things in my life are the people that are in it. Friends, family, co-workers, everyone.
