Composer, pianist and producerCo-leader of The Boo-Hooray Theory .Half of Heneghan & Lawson soundtrack composersCo-writer and producer for cellist Jane Oliver .Welsh/Scottish composer Born Liverpool, 1955. First composition: Academic Sonata Op.1 (for flute and piano) composed in 1977 at Cardiff University. Recently recorded by Catherine Handley and Andrew Wilson Dickson. (track 5)Other compositions include: Overland to the Sea ~ first perfrormed by the orchestra of Welsh National Opera.Ghost Train ~ recording released on the Chandos label (track 4) Celtic Fanfares 1 - 4 ~ also released by Chandos The Great Little Trains of Wales composed with Ben Heneghan performed by BBC NOW and Halle.The Tree Calendar ~ a cycle of poems by Hilary Llewellyn Williams set for soprano, piano and string quartet (tracks 9 & 10)Choral music ~ mainly SATB much recorded by Cantemus Chamber Choir Wales on their CD The Contingent World (tracks 2,3 and 4) Piano music ~ sets of pieces and individual works (tracks 6,7,and 8) Theme Park ~ Brass quintet.
