About Me

I'm a photojournalist for a TV station in Kans...

BREAKING NEWS!!!!!: I took a job at the FOX station in St. Louis! Yes, that St. Louis. The same city I've wanted to work in since I was a little kid. To say I'm excited would be an understatement. Now back to your regularly scheduled MySpace page.

Photojournalist (noun) : a journalist who presents a story primarily through the use of photographs (or video)

I used to do the same thing in Oklahoma City, Rockford, IL and Columbia, MO. It's a fun, sometimes high-stress job, but it beats sitting at a desk all day.
I keep myself sane by singing along to the radio... loudly if I'm alone.

My Interests

COLLEGE BASKETBALL, COLLEGE BASKETBALL, AND MORE COLLEGE BASKETBALL. Oh, and photography.

I'd like to meet:

Good people, nice people, fair people.

Ladies and Gentlemen, the greatest story in the history of television journalism.

Music:

New, old, rock, R&B, blues, whatever you got, I'll probably like it.

Movies:

Enjoy comedies and drama the most. Faves are Swingers, Shawshank Redemption. I LOVE MST3K!!! I have all the DVD's! Nobody gets me; I'm the wind, baby! If I ever get the time and/or money, I'd love to shoot a documentary or two.

Television:

News, because it's what I do. Sports (especially COLLEGE BASKETBALL), because it's what I love. CSI, because Grissom rocks.

Books:

Mostly non-fiction, books about society that are written well, think "Fast Food Nation" and the like. I admire the work of John Feinstein, have several of his books. Last Read: The Game by Neil Strauss. Currently reading: Next Man Up by John Feinstein.

Heroes:

Firefighters. NPPA Photographers of the Year.
